Red Cabbage Microgreens
From our urban farm in Toronto's West End Junction neighbourhood, these super-fresh red cabbage microgreens are produced from organic, non-GMO seeds in Canadian organic soil medium.
Red Cabbage microgreens have a fresh and sweet cabbage-like flavor with a bit of spiciness at the end. The greens are crunchy and great for salads, sandwiches, or simply use as a garnish.
Red Cabbage contains vitamins A, B, C, E and K Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Zinc Carotene, Chlorophyll, Amino Acids and Trace Elements Antioxidants. In fact, according to the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry red cabbage microgreens had 40 times more vitamin E and six times more vitamin C than mature red cabbage.
